EXPERIENCE

Richard Tworek is a contractor with Lerman Boudart & Associates, LLP. He is a licensed attorney with more than 30 years of tax experience. Mr. Tworek has in-depth knowledge of all areas of taxation, including corporate, partnership, and individuals (federal and state). His expertise lies in specialty areas, such as mergers and acquisitions, employee benefits and estate planning. In addition, Mr. Tworek has represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Tax Court. He has written numerous newsletters, including the AMAs American Medical News. He also performs seminars for client and in-house staff.

Prior to contracting with Lerman Boudart & Associates, LLP, Mr. Tworek was a former partner at a regional CPA firm in the Midwest. He was a tax partner for more than 18 years. He has also been an adjunct professor at the DePaul College of Law Graduate Tax Program and a member of the Chicago Bar Association.
